Paresh Desai

I am Paresh P. Desai, age 57 yrs., a Science graduate with 2 post graduate diplomas in Pathology. I am also an Embryologist with a work experience of 19 yrs. I have been working in Para-medical field since the last 35 years and am currently working as a Manager of a Pathology Laboratory and the IVF center in a private hospital in Mumbai.

I have also established and run a college for nearly 20 years offering PG Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, affiliated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University.

Having been associated with the field of para medicine and education, I have come across a lot of students who are interested in studying but have no idea of “WHAT” to study.

I, being based in a tier 2 /3 city of Gujarat, had to really search for new fields for educating my son. It was this search and the difficulties faced that put a thought in my mind about providing information to students regarding new avenues and branches available to them, which can be both enjoyable and in which a successful career can also be pursued.

Since I have the experience of teaching students, interacting with them, solving their queries, I feel I am the right person to become a Student councilor.

My aim is to guide students and their parents / guardians in selecting the correct educational path which can help them become successful professionals. This guidance will be based on scientific methods and tools along with counselling.
