About Counsellor:
Having worked as a developer in IT for 7 years, I found something missing in my career. I had a career switch over and chose teaching and the journey has been great so far. As I interacted with students, I understood the difficulties and the pressure the current generation students are in. Parents are putting in lot of pressure to make their child run in the race of marks, but the child deserves something else. The child is stuck between his/her desires and aspirations and parental/family pressure.
I’ve interacted and counseled my students who are confused what to do next and are unable to cope up with the pressure from the society. I understand that, it is the closeness and the comforting talk that helps the student share their thoughts with you and I’m working towards the same.
At Pavingway, the requirements of the individual is carefully studies and taken utmost care in providing them the necessary information and guidance which makes them discover their true potential and interests. I was in the crossroads in my career where I had to choose my transition wisely. I did not understand which was the best role to opt for and the domain I had to switch to, after being there as a HR manager for 5 years. Through our sessions, Deepika helped me gain clarity that it's product analysis was something I was looking for. And I'm happy to say that, I've now transitioned into the role of Sr Product Analyst at an MNC. It was all possible through the career counselling sessions I took with Deepika. I recently was on a situation where I had to choose between 3 courses. I researched online but the information was even more confusing. I got in touch with Deepika and the sessions were extremely helpful. She gives you end to end information about any details you want with respect to course, colleges or job prospects. I was fascinated and passionate about choosing Mechanical Engineering but my family insisted on choosing CS as my stream. With prompt facts and figures, Deepika was able to convince my parents why Mechanical is more suitable to me considering my interest, skills and also the career motivator. I strongly recommend Deepika as she's more aligned towards facts and figures and also equally empathizes the situation without blindly suggesting an option just because it is in demand.

I had completed B Arch and was completely confused about what to do next as I was interested in higher studies. I knew I wanted details on courses abroad but had no clarity. Speaking to Deepika, after 3 rounds of interaction. gave me complete clarity on what to do next and I could select the college and the course I had to choose. Why career counselling should be done by expert career counsellors?

A career counselor would ve analysed the pros and cons in every aspect that are pertaining to each client. Each client and each student s capabilities are different. Each individual has different aspirations. And a lot of students today, are influenced with what they see around than what they want to achieve and hence are lot more confused. They would like to get into a path which most of their known people are following and are successful themselves. They least anticipate the risks and struggles involved in achieving the same. The counselor is the right person to contact. He/she would give proepr timely guidance to overcome hurdles and also discuss the best possible career path and clusters that are best suited.
